I teach a blended form of Ashtanga (8 limbs) and Hatha (asanas) yoga. The sun and moon salutation serve as a warm up to the asanas (poses) which are held for at least half a minute. The emphasis is stretching and the breath, wherein we lengthen the hold time to quieten the mind. I introduce variations, conduct Pranayam (breathing) and a short Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) at the end of the session. I introduce lower back and core strengthening exercises to ensure a safe practice.
I like to introduce mythological stories related to the yoga poses, which are of great metaphorical value. No two sessions are the same as we connect to our body, breath and spirit with mindful loving awareness. The sessions can be tailored to your requirements. The different types of yoga sessions you can opt for: Private yoga (one-on-one - if you want to invite your own group of friends - group rates are mentioned) The traditional way to practice yoga in the old days was on a one-on-one session with the teacher. The reason for this was that by respecting that each body was different, it was imperative to tailor the yoga sequence to suit the individuals requirement. About Online Yoga
online yoga classes are an amazing way to connect.
We set up the screens so that we can see and hear each other. I will demonstrate and verbally guide you through a sequence specially tailored for your needs. Each pose, breath work (pranayama) and meditation session will be explained in detail so that you can follow, and of course I will watch to ensure you practice safely. Feel free to ask questions as they arise, or at the end of the session.

Dress Code
Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can stretch, and bend in. We usually practice with bare feet as it allows us to navigate poses comfortably and safely.

A laptop, or computer with a camera and microphone that works.
A strong internet connection
Google meet
Yoga mat
Props (straps, block, bolsters, towels, pillows) are optional. They allow for a deeper practice.

Single and class packages are non-refundable.
Please cancel the session 24 hours in advance.
Please book the sessions 48 hours in advance. This ensures that we can set up a slot that works best for you and if for any reason, you need to make changes to your booking please make them 24 hours in advance.
If for some reason our class is affected by poor internet connectivity or any technical issues, don’t worry as we will reschedule or add the remainder of the time to the next session.
Please consult with your doctor prior to practising yoga, meditation and breath work to ensure a safe practice and let me know of any and all medical challenges that you might be facing so that I can modify the sequence.
Every client must read, agree to the terms and sign a waiver form which I will email and require a signed, scanned copy back 😊
